I am thinking about studying economics. I heard University of Chicago is a good school. Do you guys have any other suggestions?

Just so long as they aren't teaching the same crazy things they were in the past.

UChicago is definitely one of the top schools out there for Econ. I believe MIT's Sloan school is the best in the States tho and UPenn's Wharton comes close behind (just b/c their business is the best). However, out of the three, UChicago is probably the easiest to get into if your grades and test scores aren't stellar.

My thoughts exactly. As far as I can see economic reporting is very much about how to "legally" fudge the numbers in order to protect vested interests. None of the Government financial reporting is ever transparent to me.
