It is astonishing how stupid people can be . Willing to give away their freedoms if some politician promises to give them something free . Many would send their children into a life of socialism / communism just because some lying politician offered them something such as a free sack of groceries . The people in Venezuela sold their children's freedoms . Now they are starving , looking in the parks for a pigeon to eat . Husbands sending wives out to prostitute so they can buy a roll of toilet paper . Now nearly half the population in the U.S. want to follow Venezuela's example
