I no longer wish to deal with your rather weak attempts at belittlement, inability to use the spell check function, seemingly limited grasp of the ways language functions, or what must be described as a very negative mentality mixed with a terrible persecution complex.

Rather than waste my time bailing out the ocean, I prefer to bow to your obviously superior position and intellect.

We should all have whatever guns we desire in order to quell the tyranical regime headed by the evil Muslim Kenyan Socialist Gay man looking to eat our pets and kill our Grandmothers.

You feel belittled by reality? Its becoming increasingly obvious who is to sensitive, I mean if you are offended by existence you need to grow a thicker skin.
seemingly limited grasp of the ways language functions.
I am not the one who thinks the word people means the same thing as malitia.

or what must be described as a very negative mentality mixed with a terrible persecution complex.
You call an opposing opinion a negative mentality, you are the problem with our nation.

Rather than waste my time bailing out the ocean, I prefer to bow to your obviously superior position and intellect.
Finally you recognize my superior intelligence, now stay out of this debate, you have no business in it, you lack the education.

I deleted this stupidity
I just couldn't let that collection of nonsense be in my post. Take your catharsis privately.

And you wonder why others react in a negative way to you?

Anyway, lets just do as you seem to suggest and look at the "Plain English"...shall we?

Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Now, as this is very clear and plain English, and it seems we must adhere to it as stated we must begin with the term militia:
"A militia (pron.: /mɨˈlɪʃə/),[1] or irregular army, generally refers to an army or other fighting force that is composed of non-professional fighters; citizens of a nation or subjects of a state or government that can be called upon to enter a combat situation, as opposed to a professional force of regular soldiers or, historically, members of the fighting nobility."

Therefore, we are referring here to an organized force of citizenry.

We then go on to explain this force must be allowed to bear arms.

So I suppose my question for you would be...Which Militia are you attached to, a part of, or in any way affiliated with?

Also, I did not note where it is stated disallowing certain arms equals an infringement with the right to bear arms...or did you simply decide this is implied?

No....you would never imply there are "Plain English" words in the 2nd that do not exist....that would be an interpretation.

Every male citizen between the ages of 17 and 47 is militia...

Isn't a militia sort of army made up of citizens that have been called to fight...a sort of reserve army ?
If thats so then do all Americans, men and women, sign up to this 'reserve' and if not, then why aren't ALL Americans armed? Either its a free choice to have guns or a necessity in case of the need to use the reserve army.

Most everyone might be militia but nobody ever get's called up. The only militia force that ever sees real, officially sanctioned action is the National Guard. The Feds aren't fans of irregular forces due to quality control and the command structure of militias. Then there's the point I brought up in another thread about the militia being little more then a levy, why go feudal when there are plenty of volunteers?

iraq was an independent country and had nothing to do with 9/ 11 attacks, please a little honesty ..

and that killer deserved such an end because he was the one who was proud of killing 150 iraqi

it is said that this killer wrote a book and told how he was so proud of killing at least 150 iraqi who were defending their own countries

Chris Kyle, 'American Sniper' Killed At Shooting Range, Leaves Behind Legacy Of Service
NICKNAMED `THE DEVIL'
Kyle wrote a best-selling book published in January 2012 detailing his 150-plus kills of Iraqi insurgents from 1999 to 2009. Kyle said in the book that insurgents had put a $20,000 bounty on his head. The website for his security training company said the Iraqis feared him so much they nicknamed him al-Shaitan, or "The Devil."

I was never a fan of Iraq but don't bash a warrior who went to war, that's kind of the point. You're acting like he was gunning down civilians, his targets were Baathists and post-invasion resistance fighters (who I might add ended up surrendering and joined the pro-West gov't once they realized were weren't monsters).

One last time...for the record:

What you refer to as "Rights", seem little more than your personal opinion of the way said rights are interpreted. We as a society do not allow individuals to bypass our laws simply because they disagree with them, any more than we can allow individuals to pick and choose what taxes they want to pay.
You wish to compromise the "Rights" of others based on your preferences, this is considered illegal. It would be similar to me deciding to walk into your home and take your personal belongings because I wanted them.
And yet, even though you banned him he is right.

And you are on the wrong side of history.

This makes me angry.

You sanctimonious twit. How dare you call them victims?

IF...IF...you read the post PROPERLY you would realize that the quote you give to me was actually not mine. The link is with the post. That's where the sentence came from.

IF...IF..you read MY comment at the end which says simply "Sad" then you might realize that I admire the man, applaud his sniping skills and feel it sad that he died at the hands of a murderer.

Is that ok or does that still count me a sanctimonious twit?
