Biden to head Gun Policy Push

Joe Biden love him or hate him will be heading the push on a yet unannounced Gun Policy push by the Obama Administration.

I myself don't like Biden personally and don't think he should be the face behind any gun policy push. I always get a dim witted impression about him even in the VP Debate I found him unappealing (though I would have never vote Obama anyway).

I really don't think he is the man for the job. I would have picked Senator Manchin personally because of his previous stance on gun control. He has had a change of heart and you would want Americans to see this from a pro-gun Democrat.

Though that is what I would do.

I see Biden as a pretty good choice for this, Biden's 1994 crime bill banned semiautomatic "assault" weapons for 10 years. His NRA rating is, predictably, F.
As VP he also has a bit of clout, and is respected by both houses.

This reminds me of the tax wars. If you want to be taxed more why not just write the check? If you want to disarm yourselves why not just sell or destroy your weapons?

Or give to some Mexican drug cartel for their use like the Obama regime did?

You got me mixed up for someone else truly. I am not all out for banning guns period. I think the definition of guns needs to be stated more clearly. Though I am not for a person owning an AK-47 or M-60 machine gun even with a special license.

Mine was nothing more then an observation as to how maybe it should be approached and by whom. If you think I am all for banning guns wrong person again sorry I lead you to believe I was.

Yeah but if I am not mistaken he is already no for guns to begin with. If it were me I would make my point man someone who was for not having gun control and was in the party as point man.

I would do this because it show the public even the a man who was for allowing guns had a change of heart after the events. I would think it would help your case rather then making someone who was already pro gun control as your point man.

I hope that made sense.
