coincidence or spiritual occurrence

it really was a surprise. I never liked the kid and he never liked me, so I was surprised. After a couple of days I accepted the friend request.

then the person sends me a message apologizing for being and a-hole in the past and asking for forgiveness.

I readily forgave him and that was that.

The bully was no doubt thinking about contacting you for a few days prior to following through. And during this time you picked up on his thoughts of you and you began recalling your experiences and talking about them. Then he contacted you.

Yes, it could be coincidence. But that is really stretching considering the time involved. I expect it was more a case of psychic perception. Most people have them and most of them write them off as coincidence. Own it as a psychic event and it will gradually become more common and obvious.
