As it is apparent to me that we do not understand each other, and it seems unlikely I can be more clear (considering I have explained my comments twice), I think it wise to simply let the issue go. I will accept that the problem is me, if only to avoid seeming to be something far worse.

I won't let the issue go. I've seen you more than one thread on this topic. You are are rude. You don't speak for me even though you claim to understand my "viewpoint", you keep trying to put words in the mouth of your opposition, now you get called out and you want to take your ball and go home. I have a better idea, you handle your business, I'll handle mine, and you can stop trying to speak for me. How's that for a deal?

Of course, I run the risk of "your kind" trying to genetically mutate me if I don't shut up and agree with you. But you're the kind one's.....puhleeeze. Stop it.

Very well Bill, As you wish. I would appreciate you pointing out exactly Where it is that I have "Placed Words In Your Mouth", where I may have been "Rude". and where I "Claimed to understand your Viewpoint".

Simply pointing out the post numbers will do just fine as I have reviewed the thread and simply do not see it.

Trying to stick to this thread is gutless. You've participated in other threads and made it very clear that you're an Atheist. There aren't many active members here, we've all read what you had to say, but if you want to eliminate all of that and just stick to this thread, that's your right. It's also gutless. You go from wanting to genetically mutilate people who may only have the predispostion to disagree with you in one thread to claiming that you're totally unbiased in this thread? OK, play that game with me. You're the problem.

Okay...I see now, you have a problem with ME, rather than any position I might hold in this thread, that is your right. You have however, now attacked my character and this cannot go unanswered. Yes, I am Atheist, perhaps agnostic yet I make no secret of my understanding. Calling someone gutless is a rather childish way to communicate, so I will refrain from addressing that further.
As far as "wanting to genetically mutilate people", I hardly see expressing an opinion in a thread as my being a mad scientist intent on manipulating someones genetics...it may simply be you have an active imagination.
And again...I would appreciate you pointing out where I claimed to be "totally unbiased", though your inability to provide the information to back up your previous accusations makes this seem very unlikely.

It would seem you are not the type of individual I enjoy engaging in discussion...I therefore decline further communication with you as a member.

Whether or not you believe the Creation story really doesn't matter, evolution is something which occurs after the world is created so creation and evolution do not step on each other's toes.

While they might not necessarily step on each others toes (depending on what you think Creation is- I can tell you from people I know personally that some think the two DO step on eachothers toes), evolution is based on scientific fact and creationism is not. Similarly, we know the giant squid exists and that is based on scientific fact, but we do not know the Lochness monster exists (at least not scientifically). The two might not conflict, but one has a more rigorous and proven dataset behind it.

If you ask the creation story question scientifically, at most you can be an agnostic. And by asking it scientifically, I mean following the scientific method.
