We're talking about a man with Putin's attitude and the stupidity to follow thru with his threats. At least as VP, he couldn't nuke Iran and start WW3.
I can't imagine Cheney is that role. He just does not have the same guts and strength as Putin has.
Putin gave Russia a 1st strike policy. Cheney called for the use of nukes in the current war (especially on Iran). Putin is making the hard-liners feel good. Cheney would have done it if he wasn't a mere VP.

No way. The people would never have allowed him to do it. It is just with like Obama. There was an Obama during his election campaign, and then an Obama when he was sworn in as President, and the two versions of Obama are almost night and day.
