I find the concept of time manipulation as a possibility but not one any human could take part in...not at this "Time".

Thing about time travel into the past is you can only go as far back as the time machine you use was last turned on as otherwise there's no place to 'land'. Going FTL is also possible except that it's... Not.

Something about the above that has intrigued me is that if space and time are the same thing, then quantum entanglement can time travel. If, as some have theorized, the brain is an organic quantum computer, it should theoretically be possible to connect yourself with a past or future version of yourself and transfer your mind, allowing time travel to any point in which you've lived, live or will live. Even in this way, you still wouldn't be able to travel further than your brain can support your mind (so no infant or old and demented self) nore could you travel before your birth due to the whole needing a place to 'land' thing.

or perhaps the point of leaving and arriving could be "oriented" to a particular natural / ancient landmark.

What if there is a building in that spot or other solid object? Example: Time machine takes off from WTC Memorial but goes to a time when the Twin Towers are still standing.

Actually 16 would be age for me. The very day (my 16th birthday) when I got my license and could go for a drive all by myself!
