My son has a Tesla. He loves it. But I would not pay THAT kind of money for one, even though I can easily afford to.

His Tesla uses 1,000s of these 3.7V very common 18650 batteries. They are kind of like they are "A" batteries, as they are that much larger than an AA battery, about the same proportionally larger from an AAA to an AA battery. They are taller and fatter than an AA.

I recently got a knockoff of the "Ring" doorbell, that uses two (2) of the 18650 batteries. The instructions say the batteries are supposed to last approx. 6 months, but oddly, the pair only lasts about 1 month. :(
