Nope, not dictators at all. That they all had secret police and concentration camps isn't relevant either. Nope, they were American Presidents and so immune to any accusations of undemocratic behavior because America is 'Land of the Free' and 'Leader of the Free World'.

To my knowledge the Cuban missle crisis was 13 days long where we were expecting a nuclear bomb to drop on us at any moment kicking off mutually assured destruction.
That was never going to happen. Nobody at the thine knew that obviously but it was nothing but the Soviets (after asking nicely to no gain) telling us to get our nukes out of Turkey.
