Okay, so eons ago the forces of nature available at the time, specifically lightning (combined with organic chemistry) sparked the very 1st simple forms of life on Earth, which in millions of years slowly mutated/adapted/evolved to modern man & all the other modern lifeforms.
Much later, remote tribes of early man had their "must be a god" moment. What happened, was a bad/evil (or simply mentally ill) person was randomly struck by lightning & killed. There was a witness or witnesses of said strike. Pondering what happened & putting 2 and 2 together, it was decided that there must be a "god" that punished the bad person. Then the story by mouth perpetuated over generations, and snowballed into modern elaborate religions.
This is my story, and I'm sticking to it!
