I agree with David. The elections are rigged both "honestly" and "dishonestly". There is an enormous amount of self-delusion, making it very difficult for people to discover how rigged the elections really are. On an innocent level for example, how honest it is to drive the elderly and disabled to the voting polls? How honest is it to contribute financially to campaigns? How honest is it for ACORN to be involved in the election campaign?

The election system has become so entrenched, that possibly the only way to get rid of it, would be a revolution of a kind, either peaceful, or if the Government does not want to provide outlets of opinion and listen to the people, then violently.
Your right. We all should know that ACORN is completely corrupt. What makes it worse is that this dreadful organization receives funds from the federal government. Too many votes are being purchased by politicians. Too many politicians are being bought with donations.

How does something like that happen though? how does an organization like ACORN get to be funded by the federal government? In fact, and that just took my breath away when I learned about it, they actually won a petition in court to force the federal Governement to pay their contribution, even when the Government had come to a conclusion that ACORN was misappropriating some of its funds.

The Judicial system is just another corrupt element of the government. Judges I believe are elected as well. So I would assume that there is some back room deal that influenced the judge of the above court. The courts and some judges, ignore the law when it benefits themselves.

Totally agreed on this too. Money definitely talks when it gets to determine how much justice you can afford?

You made the accusation that the elections are rigged. If they are rigged then what power would we have to fix the problem? The current day polititions have already shown that they will not bow down to our anger, so that leaves rebellion. Are you advocating "REVOLUTIONARY ACTION," "REACTIONARY ACTION," or "CONSTITUTIONALITY ACTION?" Today's politicians on both sides, have tiptoed on the line of legality when it comes to the constitution.

Peaceful preferably for reasons I hope are obvious to you but I've no issue with taking up arms if it comes to that.

As for the Constitution, it's been irrelevant since 'Honest' Abe threw out the idea of a federal republic.

ACORN is dead, the video's details were faked and the guilty employes fired. I really don't care about anyones opinion of the organization as I'm neutral on it myself but those are the facts and I've seen some off-the-mark accusations made.

Taking up arms, is by far a last resort. I don't think we are any where near that yet. One indication of a pending need to take up arms will be, if the federal government starts to draft legislation to abolish the second amendment. At this point serious talks of a revolutionary action should be discussed.:help:

Why the 2nd? Why not the 1st, 13th, or 27th?

Without weapons how could there be a revolutionary action. In my opinion the abolishment of the second amendment would be nothing more then a tactic used by a power hungry government to limit our capability to remove tyrants.

Gun control is extremely important to me. We really need to control the weapons Governments have.

Control is good, in that there has to be proof that a person is capable of handling a gun before he/she purchases it, however a citizen should be able to purchase a gun to protect him/herself if he/she can prove that they know how to use it.

Sounds like a NRA slogan. :giggle:
Rightly so, that it sounds like an NRA slogan. Why should the government be the only ones with guns. The NRA understands this, so do I. There are regulations that I agree with. Violent criminals should not be allowed to own guns. They don't care about the law though. Responsible gun owners do, that's why the typical gun owner are law abiding.
