I'm not an expert, but I just have this feeling that we are ready for a completely new technology, as revolutionary as our current computer and internet age has been relative to what we had in the 1940's. Perhaps computing as we have now will change to something totally different that may make Intel and Microsoft software redundant. I would invest in Intel, but always diversify tech stocks with non-tech stocks.

I own both and don't really see a big difference in performance. With two Intel and one AMD I would as soon have one as the other. But then I am no "gamer".

Right, Intel has always been regarded as a very solid Blue Chip share, not a high-risk speculation stock.
