Let's Make Some Citizen Arrests on our Corrupt Officials

With all the talk going around these days about "throwing the bums out", bringing back the militia of the several states and adopting a stronger stance to keep the Federal government out of the states' business, an idea has popped into my mind that might really make these "criminals" in D. C. really sit up and take notice.

Our current immigration laws declare that aiding and abetting illegal aliens is a FELONY! Here is how that law reads:

"Under Section 8 USC 1324[a](1)(A)[iv](iii) any US citizen that knowingly assists an illegal alien, provides them with employment, food, water or shelter has committed a felony. City, county or State officials that declare their jurisdictions to be "Open Cities, Counties or States are subject to arrest; as are law enforcement agencies who chose not to enforce this law. Police officers who ignore officials who violate Section 8 USC 1324[a](1)(A)[iv](iii) are committing a Section 274 federal felony. Furthermore, according to Federal Immigration and National Act of 1952, if you live in a city, county or State that refuses to enforce the law for whatever reason, the officials making those rules are financially liable for any crime committed within their jurisdiction by an illegal alien."

Anyone aiding abetting illegal aliens, be it an ordinary citizen, police officer, members of the U. S. Congress, the President, himself and any state or local government IS COMMITTING A FELONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since Congress and most of our law officials will not enforce nor obey that law, they can be classified as criminals committing a felony. Remember that when a person breaks the law, that person is committing a crime and therefore can be classified as a criminal.

If our law officials will not do their job, the citizens of this nation have the right to make a "citizens arrest". If we the people are willing to go to jail to support a just cause (sit-ins, demonstrations, etc.) then we need to take this level of thinking a step higher by starting to make citizen arrests of these criminals.

I know we can't actually go the full route here but at least attempting it should really send a shocking and chilling message to our so called leaders that we the people are fed up with their constant breaking of the law and that we stand for a nation based on the rule of law.

I hope with this new suggestion it will give we the people a little more clout in finally bringing these criminals (some of them in Congress already have rap sheets) to the knowledge that they can't keep breaking the law to which they are sworn to uphold and protect and get away with it.

To go into this proceedure and know how to carry it out I suggest you type in "citizens arrest" (there are several sites) and here is one I found very helpful (http://www.criminalattorney.com/news/citizens-arrest/}. Try to have tangible evidence on hand (papers, documents, recordings, etc. You muat have visible evidence to make such an arrest.

What's so bad about immigrants? The same thing can be accomplished with a far better justification by going after them for misuse of tax money.

With all the...

The fact is you are not a lawyer. There is likely a clause, or another act that excepts them, or they will say that their actions are "lawful" - and only unlawfully aiding "illegal aliens" is a crime. They will also suggest they did so unwittingly or some other technical excuse. Or they will flat out just refuse to listen to you and use force.

Anyone attempting to arrest societal leaders in such a manner will almost certainly be assaulted, charged with crimes and possibly declared mentally unbalanced.

The thing is that the whole idea of "aliens" and "illegal people" etc etc etc is entirely insane and lie-based.

You could not have asked it better for me. Right now the majority of Americans are getting older, and probably one of these days the younger population may not be able to support the older population. Immigration has to be a life blood for the United States in getting young blood in. The first generation may not always hit it right, but usually the second generation seems to really do very well.

Gee maybe we shouldn't have aborted those forty million babies, we wouldn't need to have an immigrant class.

The muslim immigrants flooding into Europe are going to be a problem there and the people coming here do not share our value of what the USA is.

they hold an allegience to other countries.

Why should they support our aging population?

That could be true. But then the US has a special formula for immigration where they decide ahead of time how many people from which countries. So that should cover it.

Right, a melting pot? Some of it has melted a long time ago already. Problem necessary to add some more ingredients to the pot? The melted ones are getting older.

And rotten. Have you seen some of the racist BS being thrown around? Should the borders be opened totally? No. But they need to be opened more, especially for educated immigrants.

There's a similarly stupid idea kicking about in the UK. I've literally heard idiots say "kick them all out". I've also noticed I'm regulating my accent, recently. I'm actually a bit frightened, I think.

Obviously, actually blocking further immigration into the UK or "kicking them out" is economic suicide.

Doesn't that always happen however when the economy is bad? And people are either worried about keeping their jobs, losing or getting jobs?

I hope you're right, since we're supposed to be out now. I just wish they'd listen to us and stop firing people. It will undermine the economy.

How can people be out of recession when there is such a high unemployment rate? Or does it just mean that those who have done well in the past, are doing even better now, thanks to those who are unemployed?

How can people be out of recession when there is such a high unemployment rate?

Well, unemployment doesn't help the economy because of stationary wealth and the reduction of wealth being redistributed downward. But otherwise, unemployment is not necessarily an indicator of the economy. The end of recession means there's been positive growth. That has happened. In Germany, it happened last year. In Britain, it only happened this quarter. That in itself doesn't ease job losses. Unemployment depends on the stupidity and lack of compassion and lack of long-term economic sense on the side of the employer.

Good point. I recant. Also that unemployment is not necessarily an indicator of the economy.

Perhaps unemployment is more of a consequence then of the recession? Re-employment may lag the end of recession by a number of months?

Yes. Though I will mention that the bosses were making many workers redundant before the recession as well. I don't know the figures - if there was a net gain or what - but we were pretty well aware that thousands of people were being put out of work. Also, when the recession came, they basically used it as an excuse. For example, the postal strike in the UK was about pensions, employment, increased workload, redundancies and pay. The Royal Mail bosses said "oh, it's the recession" - but that was a lie. They were doing extremely well in terms of profits, and paid themselves huge bonuses, too. By making so many unemployed, as I stated, they'll undermine economic stability, but they'll also undermine their own efficiency.

Basically, if too many people become unemployed, then one of these recessions, we'll have permanent economic collapse.

I thought that collapse was in motion, but got bailed out with artificial money?

It may have been. I guess we'll never know, since action was taken. Personally, I think it was the wrong course of action and am concerned it may have actually been economically harmful.
