When I first saw this cartoon, I thought it was a joke. Seriously. I was laughing because I thought it was actually made as a parody. Then when a punch-line didn't come and when it seemed to keep going as if it were real I was surprised. Anyway, if there are any Mormons posting here, I would like for you to clear things up for me. Is all this true? This video obviously was edited by non-Mormons so the context is very anti-Mormon. So I was just wondering if any of this was an exaggeration.

I'm no morman but im pretty sure that's not what they believe (at least not the mainstream ones). As far as I know they believe in Jesus, the same god and other basics from the Bible. The main difference of course is how they abide by it all.

I wouldn't say it's an exaggeration. Here's is a bit of scripture on the star Kolob where god is suppose to live according to them:

Sure it sounds crazy, but in defense, I could pick out just as crazy things from the bible and other religious texts.

They do still believe in Jesus, and that he came to earth to save them.

Jeez. Why does religion have to be so odd, you know? Why can't it be "Be kind, rewind." and that's it?

Back in 1971 (yes I know that was long ago.) I was a "friend" with "benefits" with a very nice Mormon woman. And back then she was wearing underwear just like all my other "friends" in the female category. Just let me say I still think fondly of them all today. And appreciate the time we had together.:)
