numan protested the Vietnam war and eventually fled to stay in Canada. The experience was apparently very traumatizing for him as nearly every post he makes here has something to do about the evil of America.
It took courage to go, and much more courage to refuse to go. What are we to make, however, of those many Republicans who pretended to be ill? Thank God, they were diplomatic here, didn't want trouble. When I told them I regarded the occupation of Cyprus as a dirty colonialist war and would refuse to go, they taught me Chinese instead. British compromise works, ok?I served a year in Vietnam. I did not particularly want to go, but I was career Air Force and I served. I am proud of that year and am glad I went. I thought you admired Trump? What for then - his delicate manners?
Thee bethought wrong!
Well, in that case you worship him as a bully. What else is the poor fat bugger?
Nay w'rshipping h're! thee causeth me to rolleth 'round on the flo'r laughing out loud!
