so you can say usa should stop supporting the islamist spring in this region?
it seems so..
chris7375,
Here (the link) is the complaint letter from the 57 Muslims organizations (most of them Muslim Brotherhood front groups designated by the US Justice Dept.) sent to the Pentagon about LTC Dooley and his class. http://www.thomasmore.org/sites/default/files/files/Letter_to_John_Brennan_19_OCT_2011%20%283%29.pdf
It is amazing to see the gall that these documented enemies of America display in this letter. There's quite a bit of stuff in it and it is laughably ridiculous. Here's a few samples:
1. They complain: about William Gawthrop, a FBI intelligence analyst who has stated that the Prophet “Muhammad’s mindset is a source for terrorism” taught a class at the National Defense Intelligence College.
Well OF COURSE, his mindset is a source for terrorism. His mindset is the Koran. That is precisely where Islamic terrorism comes from. Islamists are so steeprd in their own rewriting of history to suit their purposes that that actually expect other s to believe their malarky too.
2. They complain about a January 2009 powerpoint presentation by the FBI’s Law Enforcement Communications Unit, which trains new recruits, states that Islam is a religion that “transforms [a] country’s culture into 7th-century Arabian ways.”
It most certainly DOES do exactly that. No doubt about it. You see how warped these people are ?
3. They complain that In January 2011, Stephen Coughlin, a former consultant on Islamic law for the Joint Chiefs of Staff who criticized ex-President George W. Bush’s assurances that the U.S. is not at war with Islam for having a “chilling effect” on intelligence analysis, gave a presentation to the FBI’s D.C. field office, during which, according to attendees, he claimed that Islamic law was incompatible with the U.S. Constitution and that there is no such thing as a loyal American Muslim.
ALL 3 things stated here by Major Stephen Coughlin are absolutely true. OF COURSE Islamic law is incompatible with the US Constitution which contains the Supremcay Clause (Islam is supremacist) and within the Supremacy Clause is mentioned "the Laws of the United States", which Islamic law in in violation of in numerous ways (murder, wife-beating, rape, pedophilia, slavery, etc)
The simple fact here is that these radicals want (and demand) that evferyone in America adjust to THEM. We are expected to turn our whole society upside down to accomodate these loons and their ILLEGAL system of law. The amazing thing is that anyone in their right mind would even pay any attention to them, let alone fire a top instructor for not adhering to their lunacy.
PS - US Army Major Stephen Coughlin is another similar story. He was a top expert on Islamic law, and contractor with the Pentagon, and their lone specialist in that department. When an Islamist aide to Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England complained that he was offended by Coughlin's writing (AKA the TRUTH), Coughlin was fired. Coughlin was one of the few people in our govt who possessed the moral clarity to identify the enemy, analyze its strategy, and devise a plan to defeat it. So what was Hesham Islam upset about. He IS THAT ENEMY. Like many others like him in various branches of the US govt (see >> Obama Administration = the Muslim Brotherhood)

Thank you for the link. I have read the letter. I do find a few inconstancies with the letter. Plus I find a few facts in the letter.
The problems I have with the letter it is not up to them who is used to teach a class or the materials that are used within reason.
The first problem I have with the letter is again as I stated before in another thread the picking of certain phrases or words. The very first thing the letter points out is a few phrases used in a report from the FBI. Were there statistics before the use of the phrase. What I mean is 3 in ten men “Growing facial hair” become Muslim extremists. That is why I have a problem when people quote partial things to people because they maybe giving a false view of what is truly being said.
Now some of it they do make some valid points that many Muslims are lumped into the overall stereotype of an extremist which in all reality is not the correct way to teach about a faith. In truth a small percentage of people go to the extreme side of their faith and are usually led there by false pretenses.
Now to the letter credit they are correct that if the government uses a perceived hate groups teaching they are wrong for doing so.
That is the only two parts of the letter I will stand behind. As for the rest of the letter what ever the government uses to teach is up to them not anyone else. Though the only way to agree or disagree with what they use is to actually read the books they have given.
As far as them quoting they need to give more specifics as to what was said and in what context it was said in instead of providing a few vague phrases.
You might notice that they didn't say ANYTHING about Dooley or his course, but instead, referred to other earlier things.
As for THEIR depiction of "hate groups", this is a joke. I've read Robert Spencer's books and they are not "hate". They are expose's of the sedition that these very groups engage in, and that's why they refer to his books as "hate". Also, their use of the Southern Poverty Law Center is another joke. About the only thing correct in that laughingstock organizations name is "Southern". They have little or nothing to do with law or poverty. They are a money-guzzling group who goes around scaring rich liberals out of their wits about mostly inert hate groups, and sucking millions of dollars out of them. They.ve been criticized even by the very liberal magazine The Nation, et al.

Oh I noticed and I can also see that it is less likely he did wrong though will not stand behind this comment until I know more. It does look as though he is just a patsy so to speak. I still would like to see the chief complaint against him.
As far as hate groups I never have read the guy before so I can't say what he is or isn't. Though if he is on any public list for being in a hateful group you would want to make sure you are careful in using him and to what degree.
Now I myself believe that the State's should run most with limited Federal interference. Though the Fed should train how they see fit not how the public sees fit. Though this is not the type of society we live in maybe one day it will be but right now it is not even close to this.
Oh and I am sorry I have read one short book by Robert Spencer and David Horowitz. I also have another to read by them. The one I have read is Obama and Islam. You are correct I did not find anything hateful in the book just a set of opinions more or less. The one I have not read as of yet is called Islamophobia. This book I can't say if anything in it is hateful. I am of the Opinion that no I doubt I will find anything truly hateful other then there take on Islam.
As I said the Southern Poverty Law Center's words are meaningless. They are nothing but a scam organization out to stuff their pockets with as much cash as they can scare out of fearful liberals. Any list they publish is not a list at all.
As fr a complaint against Dooley, well I provided the link to the Muslim groups' letter, and I didn't see a word about Dooley. It looks like the Pentagon might just be using him as a scapegoat to pacify unruly Muslims, as has become the trend in the US govt over recent years.
Try reading Stealth Jihad (by Robert Spencer) and tell me what you think.

I will get it for my kindle I will write it down.
Kindle Fire....very useful for many things...still not a computer.
I need to get 1 of those...
I suggest the Nook over Kindle- more flexibility. I actually had the original one until I let my sister borrow it which turned into her keeping it. Thinking about getting the newer SimpleTouch Nook with the Glowlight though.
The kindle has an ink version. It is way cheaper then a Nook. A basic Kindle is 79 dollar. If you want the Kindle Fire 8GB it is 159.00 the 16GB 199.00. With the fire you get a Ipad but cheaper.
