Not a Tyrant

I'll be honest. I was very disappointed with the election results. I didn't want Hillary to win the Democrat nomination and I didn't want Donald Trump to win the Republican nomination. I wanted two different people to run for President.

But I can tell you about three people who were originally against Trump but now want him to win. Those three people are: myself, my cousin and a friend of mine. When Trump said that he can bring prayer back to schools, I became his supporter. My cousin once called Trump 'The Devil', but after he took the time to re-examine things, he changed his mind.

I also like that Trump says that he'll help our vets if he wins. Our veterans fought and were prepared to die to maintain our freedom. Out of all of the people in the USA, our veterans deserve to be helped the most.

Yes, Trump has his shortcomings. Two of which are his temper and that he loves to shoot his mouth off. He has his shortcomings but he isn't a tyrant like many people claim. My dad had a temper and he loved to shoot his mouth off but he certainly wasn't a tyrant. I'm getting sick of people comparing Trump to Adolf Hitler. Trump isn't another Hitler and people know it.

Trump also has other shortcomings but Hillary also has a bunch of shortcomings. Let's forget about the charges that she has been facing for a moment. Even if she had never faced charges, she still has her shortcomings. Two of which are that she is racist and she is a bully. Hillary admires Margaret Sanger enormously even though Sanger said that black people should be exterminated. That is racist. Many years ago, Hillary referred to some mentally challenged children as 'F****** retards'. She bullied sweet, innocent children. Children who were mentally challenged.

Both candidates have flaws. If Hillary wins, she will not be a better President than Trump. I'm not saying that Trump would be a better President than Hillary but he sure wouldn't be worse.

I also would have preferred neither become the candidates...but they are and reality must be faced. Mr. Trump says many things he "Will Do" but most are impossibilities and it really does not matter regardless based on his record of follow up and honesty. Clinton also has a tainted history but at least has a history of accomplishments and a level of comprehension that would allow for a chance of maintaining our Republic.
Basically, from my perspective Clinton is a nasty hag with abilities and Trump is an asshole with none. If all I wanted was someone to add to my bank account however they could and did not care what happens to anyone else...Trump would probably be my guy.

Trump/Clintons were not my top picks either.

But from my perspective, he has business experience and a personality that will make things happen jobs, law/border enforcement, trade deficit issues. Will he stumble, and say the wrong thing, or a mean thing on occasion? yes of course but frankly, who cares?

Hillary is in it for personal gain. She will say what ever needs to be said for power sake (no integrity). Also, as president, she would sell the country to the highest bidder, increasing the power/financial gain of their foundation. Certain donations from countries will gain you favors...open borders, loans (tax payer money), immigration, turning a blind eye to atrocities, etc.

Have you actually reviewed his "Business Experience". and if you have do you want THAT extrapolated to our society?

If the answers are yes...you are not a very good representation of what the United States was founded upon or stands for.

What part of his business experience makes you worry about it being "extrapolated to our society"?

His Illegal Hiring practices.
His reliance on borrowing and not paying it back.
His extensive history of failed ventures.
His cheating of smaller business for profit.
His padding of income reporting through falsehoods.
His lack of financial transparency.
His many fraud charges and bribery activities.

The list can go on but, that will do for now.

no extrapolation necessary with Hillary, she has already shown her shadiness as a politician. the things feared if she becomes president have already been done as a secretary of state.

If you would....Please tell me of a politician or even a celebrity who you do not see as shady?

I'm sure most are. Romney seems pretty alright, probably due to his faith driving his behavior. But sure, I would guess all have some shadiness. That said, if all have some shadiness, then you try to pick the one with the least amount.

That is exactly what I am doing.

Interesting example of trying to find some reason to vote for one or the other, as in "but we have to do something, don't we!?"

But, do we? Why?

I can't vote for looters. Both major candidates are looters. They've both told us who they want to loot, just not how much. They've both made careers of looting public money.

Both major parties are full of looters. The only thing they have to argue about is who is more efficient at looting and how to divide the loot.

If you vote for looters, you are agreeing to being looted.

I personally find it helpful to evaluate both the positives and negatives on an individual to decide which choice will help the republic I live in the most and vote accordingly. In my mind choosing not to vote at all is akin to giving up on this wonderful experiment and abandoning my responsibility to it.
