Technically? Technically it was an act of terrorism, or technically the victims are being denied needed assistance due to the administrations classification.

Technically a state employee, on state property where he worked, committed acts of violence against his co-workers. I agree they're downplaying this, I'm just pointing out they're not actually wrong.

So while the administration is "downplaying" the attack for god only knows what political advantage, the classification is denying much needed funding to the victims. But hey technicalities.

Clearly a jihadist (by his own admission as well as his ME contacts) infiltrator, planted for the purpose of attacking a military installation.

And what's gained by calling him a terrorist? Do a cost/benefit analysis from the Fed's POV, why would they glorify this guy when they can just call him a disgruntled worker and throw him in a dark hole somewhere?

So then Oklahoma City, 9/11, Benghazi and Boston aren't or shouldn't be classified as terrorist attacks because it will glorify the attackers? So I don't care about the Feds point of view, but the victims point of view.

The ed make the charges, there POV is the only 1 that matters. Emotion and thinking don't usually go together, so leave the emotion out of your argument. or nobody will take you seriously.

Call it terrorism where it's terrorism. Call it workplace violence where it is only that. This was terrorism (at one of its worst attacks)

They think the American people are too stupid to understand, that a Muslim isn't necessary a terrorist. Even if this terrorist was Muslim. As much as I hate to I have to agree with them there are people just dumb enough to associate Islam with terrorism.

Many of us understand not all Muslims are terrorists, but sadly it seems to be the American way to base policy on the dumbest among us.

And, the reality is that not all Muslims are terrorists....but most terrorists are indeed Muslim. Likely, the administration did not wish to add to the Islamic fears growing in this country.

The fears of Islamism in America are nowhere near the abundance that they should be. Having read 25 books on Muslim jihad (in all its forms), for 12 years, + thousands of their footnoted reports + various website material, I have a pretty good working knowledge of it. I find the average person to be almost 100% ignorant of it.

The Obama administration would like to keep it that way, at great peril to the American people and America's fundamental (non-Muslim) way of life. This is perhaps Obama's worst trait as president of the US.

Nor did I state they were mainstream...you asked for a reason why I stated there was Islamic fear in this country and evidence of such.

I would prefer that when debating with me....you maintain the goal posts as they were, rather than changing them with every other posts.

I cannot place individuals on ignore here, but I CAN do so manually.
