What leadership. What steady fortitiude. What courage.

To offer that these two sides.......talk.....I mean......this Obama is groundbreaking, a man of solid community organization skills I can hear him now;

"You two....you need to....talk......work things out."

Meanwhile as the article suggests;

Obama "offered no new ideas on how to reach a two-state solution, and moved back from his previous support of the Palestinian demand for Israel to halt settlement activity before talks resume, according to the Associated Press."

Of course he offered no solutions.......that would take someone qualified, that's not our President.

"Meanwhile, Palestinian militants in Gaza fired four rockets into southern Israel shortly after dawn, causing damage to one home but no injuries, according to Israeli police officials. Once an almost daily occurrence, Thursday's strikes were only the second incident of rocket fire by Gaza-based militants since Israel launched an eight-day war against the territory last November that left 177 Palestinians and six Israelis dead."

Fired rockets into Gaza while the President is visiting?

Our standing in the world so obviously improved, huh? What other nations think of us once mattered to some observers. Obviously, no longer the case. Like so many other issues......non existent once the circus clown was elected.

Sigh... the partisan whining is really getting old... Now you are criticizing the President because he can't solve the mideast crisis? No one has been able to solve it to date...

Might you give me something to respond to? Some form of content rather than a criticism on myt posting style or who you think is whining or if it's getting old?

I didn't think so.

:help:Anyone who is intellectually curious want to have a conversation, someone other than the forum trolls?

Except you didn't actually say anything. Basically your post amounts to complaining that Obama talked during a diplomatic mission (You know, where taking is the point?) and that a bunch of crazy terrorists terrorized like they've been doing for the last 2 decades while he just so happened to be in the country as if they wouldn't have attacked anyway.

It's a good and inspirational speech which could break the stalemate between Israelis and Palestinians and Obama usually speaks with moral authority when he engages with foreign audiences and his Nobel Prize-winning speech in Cairo set off the Arab Spring.

And that's about all it amounts to. A speech. The moral authority is what you give it.

Take this theiry you have on his speech setting off the Arab Spring. Hillary just testified to Congress that this Arab Spring has resulted in an infestation of radical Islam, that North Africa has seen a serious and deadly rise of al-Qaeda and other Islamic Radicals resulting in the attack on our embassy in Banghazi.

This man who was supposed to be so smart. Such a leader, such a visionary. He offers nothing wa all haven't heard from before, I'm left in amusement when others think it's such an accomplishment. It was a speech.

Sheep move in herds, let's not try to emulate.

Then what have you been responding to dozens of times? Many observers troll on this forum, very little content is discussed...and the process of debate lacks structure and consistency.

Intellectual honesty rather than disingenuous discussion is what I'm seeking and this forum seems well stocked with the latter.

And yet you are the one who time and time again posts purely partisan talking points and then when someone responds to call you out on it, you make this sort of response. Stop criticizing people and start criticizing their points.

When someone responds to it? There is no response to it, there is deflection concerning whether I'm being intellectually dishonest added with some horse manure about my personality........on a faceless namless talk forum!

I don't think you're responding whatsoever, myp, you're trolling is exactly what you're doing where I'm concerned and I think you should read your own rules. Why not thread lock this disaster of a thread as well.

What a joke.
