A few days ago, President Obama suggested that Isreal-Palestine peace talks start with the original 1967 agreement. The suggestion was met with a lot of criticism, especially from Israel and it's proponents, but the President insisted that it was merely a disagreement between friends and that America will continue to stand beside Israel's side.

I have been on political boards for years. Never seen anyone change their mind about anything. They just keep pissing each other off trying to get someone to agree with them. Not only have I seen people change their minds, I've seen them change ideologies after a year or so on an active forum. I know this 1 guy that went from moderate socialist to libertarian extremist in about 2 years. I know another guy that went from genocidal fascist to classical liberalism in 3 years.

This forum simply lacks the diversity of opinions needed to change people and few members stick around. I think it's down to you, me and myp (and maybe Obtuse) for anyone that's been here long-term.
