We must always see to it our elected officials stick to the constitution of both the Federal and state Governments to which they are elected. I am deeply concerned about the totalitarian use of Executive Orders to force people to comply with any wish they desire to imposed upon the people

I have sent the following e-mail to my Governor and two legislators in our General Assembly concerning this matter:

"Governor Ralph Northam
State Capitol
Richmond, VA.

"Dear Governor Northam:

"I am advising you in the strongest possible terms DO NOT exceed your constitutional authority by starting to lock down businesses again. Your job is to enforce existing law NOT MAKE LAWS. That is the job of the legislature. You are denying us the freedom to work and live a normal life by so doing.

"I am sending a copy of this letter to my state legislators demanding they show some manly fortitude to stop you from usurping your constitutional authority. If they sit back and do nothing I will advise they will not get my vote for re-election as they have no backbone to do their job.

"Sincerely,"

May I suggest you do the same
