Up until I was 12, I was born and raised in a small bible belt city in Indiana. One could call me a product of that community but in reality, since then, I have shed the hypocrisy of that existence and have forged my own way in life...which is an antithesis of what they believe there.

Never forget where you come from....or that like it or not, you're a product of your environment. Kudos to your parents if you were raised, so many flat out aren't today.

So too with Barack Obama. He was able to rise above the cesspool of criminal life in Chicago/Illinois and while that may be his home town, he is not a product of that environment or has any culpability associated with it.

He came to Chicago as an adult and never had to rise above any cesspool, he governed over it for Christ's sake. And has responsibility for the reality of what it is today.
