I wasn't sure where to post this, but it is about the current events dealing with the immigration bill. If it doesn't belong here please move it and let me know, I apologize in advance. This was a column I wrote for another forum, but I regularly repost at other forums.

Phen-A-Logue: Immigration Overhaul
It?s a quick witted piece guaranteed to make you drop your pants.
So the past week or so (doesn?t it seem like forever now?) we have constantly been spreading opinion after opinion on the new Arizona Immigration law. The main point against it, and pretty much the only thing the left has spewed out, is that this bill is racist and is demeaning against Hispanic immigrants. Everyone and their mothers jumped on the bandwagon, from Mexican President Calderon to President Obama even over to our Communist neighbor to the south: Cuba. The funny thing about all of these people? None of them actually READ the bill. It?s simply blind and ignorant anger at the Republican governor of Arizona finally taking action towards something the Federal Government should have done 15 years ago. Build a wall, send in the National Guard, do both, just DO SOMETHING! If they actually read the bill, they would have seen that the bill tells officers NOT to racially profile, but it?s something you know couldn?t be avoided. In a recent press event, a second grader told President Obama that his mother was afraid of being deported because of this law.
If she?s illegal, then yes she should be afraid.
Am I the only person who realizes these illegal immigrants are BREAKING THE LAW? Look I have no problem with making these people legal citizens, most are honest hard working people looking to better themselves, I?d rather keep them and deport people like this:

The fact is, this is NOT primary offense, like speeding, reckless driving, or shooting a cat in the middle of the street. For those who are puzzled, that basically means an officer CANNOT pull you over just to check for your papers or stop you on the street either UNLESS you are doing something UNLAWFUL. What really grinds my gears is that you should have your papers in the first place, it?s part of your ID, much like if an officer catches you doing something wrong on the street, you HAVE to show him your state ID/license. If you don?t you can get a ticket for it since if you?re over 16, you must have a form of ID. Yes we were founded on immigration and being built by a mesh of cultures, but we were also founded on slavery and oppression. I feel that our country is taking this whole apology for past mistakes thing too far and bringing political correctness to a huge extreme.
Look at what happened in California, the students were forced to leave because they wore American Flags on Cinco De Mayo. A ?holiday? that is not even recognized as a national holiday in neither Mexico nor here is suddenly grounds for removal from school. Did you see the shirts? A couple of them were Old Navy shirts, a somewhat popular clothing brand. I have no problem removing people from the public eye and executing them for wearing Old Navy, but for reasons because they are wearing the NATION?s flag is beyond moronic. That whole issue is for another rant though. We as Americans embrace everyone?s cultures, which is why we celebrate Cinco De Mayo and St. Patricks Day, despite them not really being legit holidays. I mean legit as in, we don?t take off work for that day and government buildings don?t close then. If you are from another country, generally we will accept you as one of us as long as you don?t force It down our throats, unless you?re Arabic in which case we will cower into the corner until you are at least a 100 miles away from the airports. That was a joke for your information.
But of course the UN is quick to denounce this bill as racist and another stain on our country much like Gitmo and Iraq. Yet they turn around and put Iran on their Women Rights council. Oh yea, that?s right, Iran, the same country that believes promiscuous women cause earthquakes, is now on the world council to determine how women rights should be perceived. Maybe we should start raping our women and committing mass genocide in our own country and then the UN will probably start to take us more serious. Cuba is another country who has no right to talk, the same country who locked up the unemployed because they felt they were dangerous. The fact is, this is Arizona?s problem and they are taking it into their hands because Clinton, Bush and now Obama have failed to secure a legit Immigration reform policy. That?s what really irks me too, these people rant on about this law but the fact is, unless you live in Arizona, you have no clue how bad their illegal alien problem truly is. I also hate how music artists are now REFUSING to play in Arizona to PUNISH the state government. What they really are doing is punishing the citizens who are fans and wanted to see their shows, but now are fucked over because of the musician?s desperate plea for attention. Yea I?m looking at you Pitbull, you talentless hack. Is there a chance for the law to be abused? Of course, LA and NYPD officers abuse basic laws to attack African-Americans, there is no law that cannot be abused, but it?s a step into the right direction.
