We cannot turn a ‘Blind Eye’ to the hastily increasing religious extremism and intolerance in our society. Sectarian violence and religious extremism is an unpredictable menace. History is sated with incidents of such sorts in various countries. The chauvinists and the evil minded selfish natured people are behind this repulsive act. Unfortunate is the fact that usually the Muslim countries are being constantly accused of promoting these evil acts and take ‘jihad’ in terms of terror.

Not necessarily most of these are possibly religiously motivated or on the fact of prejudice for example a white guy hates a black guy so he kills him

Religion has proved to be a major conflict starter in regions that are tightly compact with religious diversity. Luckily, those conditions dont have such an affect on the US due to its mostly Catholic population. Its not necessarily injustice that causes extremism, but rather a mix intolerance/ disrespect of other people's belief and tradition. With all the hatred distrubuted from either of the opposing sides, I feel no solution can be reached because of the reasoning "They did it first....". I feel that this conflict will get worse before it gets any better.

Just a quick correction- most of the population is protestant, not catholic.
