Rick Santorum tax plan

The Rick Santorum tax plan is ridiculous. I think the guy just put together something that he thinks will help him win votes and nothing more. It is very convoluted (0% on manufacturing and nothing else, what's that about?) and would make our deficit situations even worse as it cuts A LOT of revenue and even with growth that probably would not be made up for.

Most economists and experts seem to agree including from conservative think tanks (I remember reading an analysis from some group yesterday, I can't remember which one right now but I'll post it if I remember, who gave him a D+ - this is from a conservative group).

Yaaaaaaaaa - any FOOL, or "intellectual" can see what this country needs - lots more taxes, lots more government spending, and lots more national debt. ANDDDD, at least triple the regulation. That'll make the economy REALLY take off, and give everyone jobs. Yaaaaaaaaaaa

You really like three things, don't you: strawman, ad hominem, and ad nauseum arguments.

To suggest that any tax cut is good is nonsense- that would mean a 0% overall tax would be to the benefit of this country. Clearly not. You have once more shown that you are an anti-intellectualist sensationalist who has a very hard time comprehending things and critically thinking. Congratulations on not feeling even a bit like you need to work on that.

I didn't say ANY tax cut is good. Here you biitch about strawmen, and in the next breath, YOU DO IT! :p

You are an establishment lackey who has a desperately difficult time distinguishing liberal and conservative - it's all just a grayish blur in your undescerning mind.

I knew you were going to say that, but my response was a response to your strawman. Why don't you tell me why Santorum's plan is actually bad instead? I know, I know, asking for a logical response to an argument instead of ad hominem attacks is a big thing to ask of you. But I think if you really try you can do it.

Well it's just another strawman from you, how not original. You are way more establishment than me, what with your support of the invasions abroad, the strict control of immigration, and general talking points left and right. I have not had much time to explain my positions to you since most of the time I have to correct why you are wrong and you are never open to hearing new things because of your dogmatism.

And by the way, here is what I was talking about before with the D+ grade:
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2012/01/06/tax-foundation-rips-santorum-tax-plan/?mod=google_news_blog

It was an ANTI-TAX advocacy group that is considered conservative leaning and there is a report from the WSJ, also considered conservative leaning. And that Patrick is why thinking about the arguments is more important than the ad hominem stuff you prefer.

"support of the invasions" is a sweeping generalization. Given the fact that we're there, I support making the best of it we can - eg, leaving Iraq in the best position to survive as a democracy, instead of obama's exceptionally, stupid, crude, intellectually minimal solution of "Uhhhhh, let's just mosey on outta here - (chuckle!)"

the strict control of immigration

A breath-takingly stupid remark by you! Who supports the illegal alien invasion?? Lessee, lemme cout em: Most politicians, labor-intensive industries, teachers unions, the democrat party, the republican party RINO establishment, universities, farmers, the hospitality industry, the building industry, the catholic church, etc etc - and YOU say opposition to it is an ESTABLISHMENT position???? :p

Boy you misunderstand a lot of groups and people's positions.

Anyway, do you have a response to the anti-tax group's findings and why you were foolish in mocking me earlier in this post? Or did you ignore that because you realize you were wrong?
