"Policy analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta were told of the list of forbidden words at a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget, according to an analyst who took part in the 90-minute briefing. The forbidden words are “vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “diversity,” “transgender,” “fetus,” “evidence-based” and “science-based.”

The United States is now on path to become something it was NEVER intended to be. Our Constitution was written to prevent this from happening yet it is. Our own President is being allowed to dismantle and slowly eliminate free speech and free press in our society and close to 1/3 of our population is helping him do it while our Congress watches impotently.
I am not sure anymore that we will be able to correct this or if our constitution and republic will survive it. Likely 2018 will see a massive correction politically but, this level of damage may be too much.

This won't end without bloodshed on some level. If elections fail (either becuase the current regime 'wins' or ignores the results) this country will revolt. If they lose, their supporters (or at least the Trumpets) will cry foul and rise up. Either way blood will flow thru the streets, the only question at this point is riot or civil war.

its no big deal, they're just making an effort to be more polite.

;)

seriously though I'm against manipulation of language to push a political narrative no matter who the perpetrator(s).

It terms of the title, "so it begins" , this is no where near the beginning. Communist Russia, was an earlier iteration, later to be picked up by America's leftists and now being used by the right (if the story is to be believed). Most in the left are very Ok with language being manipulated to change society so long as its changing society in their preferred direction. I'm against it wherever it occurs.
