The stance that Spain could raise money on its own seems to be gone. After officials asked for the issuance of Euro bonds or further German help, the Treasury minister is now saying Spain is effectively being shut out of the bond market as rates continue to go up. There is an auction scheduled for Thursday when Spain will test the market though.
