I this whole pope and pageantry in the do called "catholic church" to be rather bizarre. I don't think I am alone in this. A bunch of creeps sitting around deciding which crypt keeper impressionist should rule their religion..um...nation..um..?churchish thingy? They have going. I don't think it's place is as big as it once was in our world.
Frankly I find the concept of religion to be rather strange. The idea of going and hanging out with a bunch of other people that deep inside have a very different opinion on everything than you do but pretend that they all agree in hopes that God will hear you if you are hanging out with people you can't stand and singing in unison...blah blah blah.
I was raised "catholic" and I just don't have much respect for it. I believe it was Constantine's church that he created to collect taxes in the form of indulgences from people to stupid to know better. The fact that the "church" survived the fall of the Roman empire and went on to buildan empire of it's own proves it's ruthlessness.
I wouldn't call it catholic I wouldn't call it a religion. It's a self proclaimed state that has sympathisers world wide.
Their resistance of every movement forward proves also that they can't exist in a modern world without being rife with hypocrisy or dissolving completely.
I don't think the Vatican nation/religion-ish thingy is going anywhere. My dad is devout with a capital D. I can't imagine what would occur in his life if the Vatican just went bust
I think that it would be great for people of this monster was slain I think of it as a mental opiate. the idea of collective worship in general seems that way too me. But then again I never really was the type to bow to some self appointed emissary of the gods.
I always though if God wanted to speak with me he would. If he created the universe that doesn't seem to be a tall order for me.
But I am through ranting.
I have no idea what these latest "popes" are doing.
I'm no fan of Christians but I'd rather see a united church at peace with several leaders checking each others power rat than the status quo.
You'd rather keep up with the mob mentality and sectarian violence rather than have a stable church? It's not as if it's going to just disappear, no matter how much you wish it would. Ideas are immortal.
i always find it curious when people say things like, "i dont like organized religion", yet theyre typically ok with:
-organized exercise
-organized government
-organized home owners association
-organized education
-organized health care
-etc
somehow, if religion is organized it's because everyone within is being duped or disingenuous.
the other possibility, of course, is people that think and believe alike tend to...congregate.
I don't think that people thatcongregate believe alike.
My spirituality is a personal thing I share with my husband and son. I don't need to go to a group worship anymore than I need to go to a group shower or group sex party. There are certain things we don't do as groups.
After the "church" told me to f- - - off. They can do the same. Catholicism offered nothing but poison to my life.
Sorry if I come off as bitter but I have every right to be.
If the only thing a church can offer a homosexual is the hope for heterosexuality, they offer no hope. And More churches offer hopelessness. So what is the point?
i'm sure i don't believe the exact same as everyone in my church. yet there are uniting beliefs we share. no apologies needed. you are entitled to your feelings and beliefs.
When they tell you to divorce your wife because your love angers their god or get the hell out of you refuse. They don't give a rat's behind abouttheir parishioners. If you doubt that tell them you are gay and see how quickly you see their teeth and blackened hearts.
I have no use for it. I mean no offense to you, but they all seem tobe centered around hatred.
So... since he is the "husband" (dominant role), you play the "wife" (submissive role)???
At the hockey game is was totally clear which one played which role.

I am his husband and he is my husband. As far as submissive roles I am not sure exactly what you mean. Are you asking about sex, house hold stuff patenting?
Just like any couple he is good at things I am at others. We split the chores and we make mutual decisions. I am currently the provider but that is going to change once he finishes his schooling. He or I am not really effeminate or girly if that is what you are asking.
