all former turkish territory in middle east fell to the brits and the arm twisting began in parliament ,leading to the demands for a new homeland ;this time at palestinian expense,

Birobidjan was a lot later, and I don't think the two ideas are connected. Syria and Lebanon certainly fell to the French, incidentally. Balfour had promised a Jewish 'homeland', whatever that might have meant, well before the establishment of the Mandate, to get more Jewish money for the War. Clearly the major British mistake was to defeat the Palestinian rebellion in the late thirties, leaving the way open for the Zionist Nazis to shoot their troops in the back and boobytrap their bodies for fighting Hitler.

Anti-Antisemitism, which is most prevalent among Europeans, has always fascinated me. Why do they hate Jews so much? Is it just a human thing to scapegoat a minority? Is it religious? Something ingrained in them after centuries of domination by the Holy Roman Empire and the Whore of Babylon?

Whatever it is, killing 6 million Jews in WWII wasn't enough for them.

I've heard of Avraham Stern's and Lehi's offer to collaborate with the fascists during WWII in exchange for a Jewish state in Palestine, but I admit to being clueless about Zionist Nazis and boobytrapped bodies. Could you provide some details? (Did I miss a metaphor?)
