ROSMO, tecoyah,
et al,
You all are making this all too complicated. Try using Occam's Razor (KISS: Keep it simple but elegant!).
Principle Question: (What is) The purpose of life?

I wonder...who does the judging. I understand you will say "God"...okay, but which one?
Considering the ample choices for the judgement staff...how does one pick which version of virtue to go by, unless we decide for ourselves.
Basically, it ends up being a personal choice in the end...which kinda removes the whole God thingy.
Yes, the main point is that we decide how we want to experience ourselves. Infact there is no judgements. Things are just as it is and our duality mind always have to compare right and wrong etc.. Actually right or wrong does not exist, its just it, whatever it is. We are the one the God inside us against our ego of judgements and our duality concept. Experiments done in quantum physics proves that we create our own reality and we follow and live our reality. An experiment about light travel in straight line was done in a dark box and measured and recorded by computer and camera. As human peep through the box definitely the light travel in straight line but as soon as no humans are watching the computer and the camera detects that light did not follow this rule anymore. It starts to go in any direction freely. Conclusively that we believe lights travels in straight line it happens so. In other words we create our reality.
(COMMENT)
The quest, as well as the statement, presupposes that there is a "purpose?" And with that "purpose" there was an intentional design to accomplish that purpose. When a mechanism is built correctly
(according to its intentional design), it product is self explanatory.
Suppose something simpler:
- Suppose that there was no intentional design.
That would mean that there is no predictable product.
This would explain why we ask the unanswerable question, and cannot come to a consensus on the answer.
There is no specific purpose for life. Life is an inevitable outcome of the cosmos.
Most Respectfully,
