WHEN Will They STOP Throwing Around The Word "Racism" When It Blatantly Does NOT Apply?

It is quite ANNOYING!!!

A perfect example is the NZ shootings. Not racism at all! It could be "religionism", but more likely "immigrantism". Yes, the victims were Muslim, but his rant was against ALL immigrants.

I AM!!! I am indeed my own master. :D:D:D

BTW: I didn't open your link, but I assume it is about Trump.

I personally merely speak the truth & common sense (not at all based on what he says). If Trump said something similar, it simply means he does the same!!!:cool::cool:

Oh, furthermore, there is NO SUCH country as "White", so there is literally no such ability of anybody to be a "White Nationalist" - hello?! Now, many can be a Canadian Nationalist or a French Nationalist, etc. (as they are actual nations), but not possible to be a W/N!

(sorry to pull technical rank on you, reedak! :D)

I truly believe MLK would roll over in his grave, if he could roll over and knew how much the word racism is ABUSED these days, essentially MOST of the time it is merely "crying wolf" or blatantly does not apply at all. :(

There were such countries as "white" from ancient times even to the Middle Ages due to difficulties in transport and communication. After the invention of the aircraft, however, people can travel from one point of the planet to another without difficulties.

Even though there are no 100% pure white countries now, there are pockets of white nationalists or supremacists in white-majority countries. :)

Once in office, Trump continued to promote white nationalists, especially he called them "very fine people" following a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville that led to the murder of one protestor.

"Trump has given voice to the rage and paranoia of white supremacists," Beirich says. While SPLC notes there has been growth in other types of hate groups, far-right hate groups have proven to be the most violent...

The FBI has seen a steady increase in the number of hate crimes over the same period of time SPLC saw a rise in hate groups. Between 2016 and 2017 alone, hate crimes spiked 17 percent.

"The numbers tell a striking story — that this president is not simply a polarizing figure but a radicalizing one," Beirich says....

It is about a country NAMED White! "Nationalism" applies to NATIONS -DUH!!! FYI: A nation IS a country, and nationalism means patriotism, no more, no less. So for "White nationalism" to be valid, it would apply to a patriotic person from the theoretical country NAMED White.

The closet thing I can think of would be an Isle Of Wight, but it is only a county rather than a country, but I suppose one could have county pride/patriotism.
