Why does the GOP allow the lib media to run the debates?

Your problem is you can't tell a real intellectual from a fake. And even REAL intellectuals have caused catastrophic problems. Take Karl Marx, a real intellectual: his political philosophy resulted in 100 million dead in the 20th century. Did any gun-and-religion-clinger ever accomplish that?

Baloney - I've gone over that in detail at this very site.

More nonsense from you. obama came in promising to fix the economy, He had the rare one-party control of the presidency and both houses of congress. He had at his beck and call every worshipful leftwing "intellectual" in the country. He even had his infamous tendency to go beyond constitutional limits. He and his pack of "intellectuals" had their chance, and they FAILED. And I like the obamaesq arrogance dripping from obamabots like you - if amateur president obama and his pack can't fix it, it must be unfixable.

You just keep making my case stronger by using these strawman arguments. I never said I supported Obama's policies nor did I say if he can't fix it no one can. You also don't seem to realize that EVERY candidate in 2008 said they would fix the mess because that is what people wanted to here- personally I think NONE of them could have done it though. And there are theories that this is more of a systemic issue, one that can't be easily fixed: http://www.politicalfray.com/showthread.php?t=2659

That's what you strongly implied in posting that some problems might be unfixable right after I criticized obama.

I agree, at least with the candidates of 2008 - a leftwinger and a RINO - and now it looks like we're heading for a replay of 2008, and with the same dismal result.

Intellectualism defined

It is well known that Repugs mostly appeal to non-intellectuals. Repugs prefer low voter turn out. Election day is always a working day (Tuesday) to make sure that working class will not show up for voting in force.
Only mentally retarded can fall for Foxy news commentators Like Oreilly, Hannity, Limbaugh types.

Socially, “intellectualism” negatively connotes: single-mindedness of purpose “too much attention to thinking” and emotional coldness the absence of affection and feelings.

Redefined Libs & Dems have single mindedness of purpose (spend more and drive our country into debt) an absence of affection or feelings (it's their way or no way). I have yet to meet a professor or a politician from Washington who can change a flat tire, hammer a nail. Make a budget without a financial planner or use any type of common sense. Their brains are on information overload, either on the goal they are seeking or the wealth they wish to acquire. That said it is disingenuous to say that Republicans want voting on Tuesday when the Democrats controlled the Congress for 2 years under Obama, and everything they did furthered the destruction of this country. Argue with that one!

If you are suggesting that it is only liberals and democrats that are anti-intellectualist, you are being anti-intellectualist :p (just look Patrick on this board). Both sides have smart people who are open to listening to real ideas, etc. and both sides have people who make their side nothing short of religion.

Right you have "intellectuals" like obama running the country. He knows NOTHING about foreign policy, and that area has been correspondingly a slow disaster. He knows NOTHING about being commander in chief, yet he gives orders to the military. He's never so much as ran a business, or even had a real job, but his actions or inactions have great influence on the economy, and the Great Recession continues.

I was simply replying to netanyahoo who implied that "Repugs" attract mostly non-intellectuals and effectively presented a bias to one side of the argument here.
This was a counterargument to his...remember Fox news is fair and balanced. Which he so eloquently pointed out as being mentally retarded.

It does not much matter who runs the debates because Democrats and Republicans work for the same people, the global banking cartel. I'd like to see a non-political, issue based body host the debate. Having the banker owned mainstream media hosting the debates is a wolf in the hen house.

That might be harder than it seems to get done. Since everyone running is a politician they may not show up.
