WHY LEADERS FAIL TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF THEIR FOLLOWERS

We all have witnessed certain instances where politicians during campaigns promised us security, efficient water supply, steady electricity, good roads, employment and many more promises, but after being elected they fail to fulfill all those promises.

But do you ever ask yourself why do they do this?

Why do politicians make a promise and refuse to fulfill it?

Why do politicians abandon their subjects after being elected?

If they know they wouldn't fulfil it why did they make it in the first place?

Quite frankly. I am very glad that our politicians fail in this regard because most of the things they promise are beyond the intended scope of our nations constitution.
The US Federal government should.
1. Provide for the common defense.
2. Ensure domestic tranquility
3. Ensure the GENERAL welfare of the people
4. Secure the blessings of liberty

Everything our government does should be related to attaining these 4 goals. And should so nothing that hinders those 4 goals.
