I was just joking actually, I haven't even looked at the first post in this thread. And as a ordinary user like yourself, I have no power to ban anyone. You need to learn how to relax man, otherwise you'll give yourself a heart attack.
Maybe read the thread? myp posted it a page or two back. The person has the power to leave a site for censorship if they please. That is one of the difficulties with running an online forum. Administrators are forced to choose between more members or flaming sometimes.
I did read the tread, that’s why I asked the question, as nothing there was even remotely an issue. Even the other person said, he didn’t care. This kind of stuff is reminds me of the Pass interference rules in the NFL. Read all that and most fans rightfully yell. JUST LET EM PLAY. It wont be much of a discussion forum if evey little thing squahses it. Politcs and religion. Two subjects that will of course get a heated.
No he was not banned for his opinions or for anything related to this thread. I will not say why he was banned out of respect for his privacy, but just know that you will never be banned for having a certain opinion. It is when people stop following the rules and/or start making personal attacks, etc. that they start getting infractions and bans.
I have never found any of these forums that havent been far to restrictive. Based on that thread nothing is diifferent here. With poltics and religon being two of the largest subjects there is bound to be some heat. Ive never been to one of these forums that doesnt have an outright poltical bias either. Ironicaly the two of the worst offenders were sites that claimed to have absolutely no restriction at all.
I know what you mean but you really as already stated, it's needed unless you want to read nothing but flame wars.
As for bias, I think the radically different politics of this forums members negate that. We could use a few fascist if the aim is to totally remove bias but I think we're covered otherwise.
The sensitivity level of people in America is increasing by the minute. Ultra think skin. Very troubling.

LOL. I would say there is quite a lot of Americans that DGAF about a lot of things if you ask me. Just a small percentage that get emotional about other things.
You should read some of their editorials... No all but quite a few think that we blame them for BP.
I think your missing that your being made fun of by them. They like to do that. There is little regard for American education in the world.

Meh, Us Americans and Brits always have some kind of issue with each other. Same with the French and Canadians. Allies that wouldn't shead a tear if they ened up conquering the other. :giggle:
