Deconstructing Government: PBS, NPR, NEH, NEA

In one way or another, all the above basically function as taxpayer supported sources of liberal/left propaganda. PBS needs hardly be talked about by anyone who is even slightly in contact with reality. NPR has made its nature very clear in recent times. NEA funds vile garbage that artists call "art". NEH funds endless historical anti-american revisionism and other garbage.

All these need to be sh_tcanned as soon as possible. In a government under obama which wastes trillions of dollars, the issue isn't so much saving money, it's dismantling part of the apparatus that cause people like obama to prevail.

Very funny.

No, the problem is tax dollars going to fund ideological propoganda. NOT so funny, but its a fact.

NPR is about as Leftist as Leftist comes. Anyone who denies that has no sense of reality.

The House came very close to pulling funding from PBS, but they were distracted by the debt limit issue. The next republican president should simply veto any bill with funding for them.

Oh, there will be a day of reckoning come 2013, that is for sure.

In your dreams.

The polls agree with me. ;) The FL TP is in really bad shape, most of the TP MCs (maybe all, though I doubt it) and definitely Gov. Scott will be out the next time they stand for election. The governor killed himself when he cancelled SunRail, the rest have just been a bunch of donothings.

Reality does not though.
They said the same thing about the GOP after Obama's election. LOL. They said the GOP was no longer relevant and would only appeal to southerners and the religious right.

Two years later, we took back the House, and now we are taking back the White House. If the former did not jerk you back into reality the latter surely will.

The GOP was slaughtered, the House was overrun by social-democrats and TPers. ;)

Actually, the GOP picked up 6 senate seats and 63 house seats, the largets house midterm gain in history. The senate gain was limited (fortunately for the democrats) in that only 1/3 of the senators were up for re-election, otherwise they would have lost the senate too.

The Grand Old Party and the Tea Party are not the same thing. ;)

But both are enemies of the leftwing - which is good enough. :p

My point stands, the GOP lost big in '10. It doesn't really matter that the TP and GOP share the party affiliation, they're night and day.

Ironically the GOP started out working with socialists (this was back in the 9th Century when the Republican Party was left-wing), how times have changed. :p

Speaking of the Tea Party I never understood how they came about claiming that Obama was going to tax them out of existence when the reality was that the much maligned stimulus package passed shortly after the big melt down had about half the costs tied up in rebate checks and tax reductions. Maybe it wasn't the tax thing but maybe something a little more sinister................like having a black guy in the White House?? Just a thought. The whole tax debate is bogus IMHO as the tax rates on the middle class (and the 1 %) were comparable to what they were (or even less) than they were during Emperor Regan's 2 terms even before passage of the big tax bill.
