We help every other country and what do they do, they turn their back on us has if we're the evil pigs infecting the world. This we are not we have done countless good things for others. I am not ignoring our wrong doing merley saying that after the amount of help we have given other you think one of these countries would return the favor. Also Many countries in europe including britain "our supposed ally" france germany and countless others allow anti US propaganda videos ,radio stations, and tv stations just adding fodder to the ever increasing fire of people hating the us for reasons that do not exsist. Not that reasons arent out there because there are many but they hate us for the wrong one or the made up ones.

our own worst enemy

america trash talks itself. 90$ of people that were born in america have no idea the life that they have and how great it is compared to other countries. If they understood the greatness of their own country we would be stronger for it and maybe even have a decent presidential candidate.

We have quasi-fascists and liberals running our gov't (not a workable mix), a sluggish economy, an over priced 2nd rate healthcare system, a population gripped by (violent) revolutionary fever (the Dems and Tea Party mostly), a gov't so unpopular that it's approval rating is below the historic threshold for civil war (thank god we're lazy), we're not the freest nation, we're not the happiest nation, etc.

The 1 thing we have gong for us is we're no stupid. As such we realize the above and complain.

Okay my friend. I hate to break it to you, but we need to take a ride on the truth train here.

First up, America seldom helps other countries unless it has a vested interest in doing so. It is no secret that the CIA has toppled legitimate democratic governments, particularly in South America in the past.

Its a country which has even waged war on other innocent countries, even within the last decade (ie. Iraq).

Yes, it may help some countries in terms of supplying foreign aid, but even there, the US contribution pales in comparison to that of other nations such as Norway and Sweden.

Unfortunately you have made me the devil's advocate here. I don't want to dump on the USA. Its a great country with many notable and commendable attributes. Selflessness, however, is not one of them.
