Yes, i see that, but I am the author of the blog and I would like to have a conversation on the subject. I am not spamming, as I write daily yet have only posted twice only.

Fair enough but I don't want this thread turning into a blog promotion thread where you post every single article you write. If people comment and there is a discussion that is another story.

no worries, I have not done that since as I said there have been lots of posts since which I have not posted here. I think the subject of Iran is an important one at the moment, hence me introducing the subject matter.

Also, if there is no interest than I will not post anything else in this thread.

Whether or not there is interest is for the members here to decide based on how they post I guess. We do have threads about Iran popping up from time to time in the news section, so I am sure you can get a discussion going.

So the first meeting is over today in Moscow, let's see what tomorrow brings. But it seems that the talks will unfortunately end in no agreement again :( In my humble opinion it seems the Europeans and the Americans don't really want to compromise anything. While Iran has said they are willing to give up 20% uranium, the other side wants to trade plane parts... As one of the Iranian negotiators said its like trading peanuts for diamonds.

I believe that yet again the West has underestimated the Iranians, they assume the current sanctions are hurting Iran so much that they will accept a bad deal. Yet any Iranian specialist would say, pride and principal are the driving factor behind Iran's decisions, they would rather take the worst possible sanctions and not accept a bad deal. Iran's religion is Shiite Muslim, one this religion is one of little guys being killed by the big powers. So for Iran to accept such a situation would mean they are going against everything they are thought as children.
