Maybe some of you people on this forum naturally never heard such a term because soldiering is only a profession in your country but it isnt' like this at some countries in the world. The council of Europe had recognized this as a personel right, so we have to do the same in a few years. Probabaly they will provide an alternative to them like in Germany, longer civil service or shorter military...
I've saw them during to my interview at the military center. Some people are saying the religion, which is İslam doesn't allow them to do military service, as if Atheists and others of this country do enjoy soldiering very much. Many people dislike this of course but, if we have a resposıbility for a country, we must share this equally.
Also I'm aganist the professional army like you have in the US. At this philosophy, soldiering is something comparable with the money. İsn't it wrong, it may works excellent in US but I find this philosophically wrong because only poor people would join the army in this case at my country, especially when we are losing soldiers in the fight aganist terrorism, I think, where I stand on this issue is more humanist and right than the one who is refusing to join and want the army to be turned into a private company. We can go nowhere just by thinking ourselfs. And I simply aganist either soldiering as an aristocrat profession(like in history) or poor poeple's profession(maybe present). Of course the professionals do command us there but we shouldn't leave all this on a class of people like buying personel security.
Am I right or so illiberal ?
