Hillary's Testimony Emotional.

Hillary got very emotional at times during her Benghazi Testimony. It was a wide range of emotions from crying to yelling. I think she is glad she is done working for Obama. Personally I would much rather have her as President then him. Though I would not have voted for her I think she is more capable.

Actually Americans died due to the actions of people far more deserving of your disdain...people who work against our country, not for it. The state department might also be responsible for keeping a few Americans alive over the years.
I well understand your do not like Hillary, but the Secretary of State likely deserves a measure of respect slightly above a bar skank.

Though in all honest you are correct and incorrect. Action or a better word for it Inaction by those in her department including herself did kill Americans who deserved protection. So she needs to respected in a form yes but also held accountable for her inaction to a situation she was made well aware of. I am far from disliking Hillary but I call it how I see it.

Our State Dept. does not have the resources required to create the embassies seen in the movies. Marines do not stand at a massive gate with weapons of war at the ready.
As this was not an embassy in the first place, security was even less and the area unsecured due to the country it was in. Some will blame Hillary, the state dept., Congress for cutting funding, Obama for being the President....whatever.

The way I see it, bad men with guns did this....and it sucks.

Yet finding place a level of blame on The State Department and the Administration. I am not say crucify the woman but she should be held accountable for her failures in the situation.

Yet Stevens requested more security and his reservations for the size of his security force on several occasions. He did this to no avail to me that is a breakdown in the system. Do I expect the system to be perfect no I don't. Though I expect officials that make known reservations they have to not be passed over or just pushed aside. That was the case here and those who did this should have to answer for their action or inactions.

I defended GW Bush when those I consider less than informed disrespected him, and will do the same for those in power now...they are MY leaders. I may not like, agree, or accept the decisions they make but I can appreciate the fact they do so for me and my country.

I agree with you GW was not by far my favorite either I found him lacking in many areas. I feel Cheney ran that administration more then GW did. Though it is in the eye of the beholder whether or not to be nice when speaking about politicians.
Why my statement in our religion thread holds true in my eyes. Partisanship has been an ongoing problem for many years this is not the first time it has been seen. It won't be the last time either.

Or the President kept mentioning for three weeks? Hillary was actually apologizing for our indifference to Islam, what a complete embarrassment for this nation.

I hope we nail her for her obvious lie. There may have been more than one. But she was under oath when she said when Rice was out lying to the American people she had no information to dispute Rice's lies. I hope we go after her and put her in prison for at least five years.

Had you actually paid attention, you would have noted there were no obvious lies, though there was obvious failure. Susan Rice was given information to convey to the public...and she did so as required in her job description. Hillary Clinton had information to dispute this information, as well as information to back it up, and as she was not involved in the talking point data (likely a bit busy at the time), she could not have corrected it regardless...that was not her job.

I agree she is accountable for the failures to protect our diplomat, and his security personnel, because that IS her job. She is paying right now with her reputation, people like you accusing her of lying, and a damaged future....fortunately for her, our criminal justice system does not lock people up because we do not like them.

That's ok, tecoyah. Many observers make their decision on who to vote for for President(the world's most powerful office) based on who he or she picks as a running mate.
