I can only apologize for not bothering to open the link...any thread that expects me to pay attention to theology is immediately dismissed as pointless.

"Ology" is "the study of". So how do you study "the"???

Yes, Google tells me that the word "theology" stands for the "study of God." The word "Theos" is God, in Greek.
