Regardless of the shortsighted Trumpist mindset, Industry will continue the natural path of economics. Renewable and less carbon intensive energies will get cheaper and better while dirty versions will fade and die. Trump seems to think coal has a chance in the face of even wind which emplys more people and has become less expensive....what an idiot.
It is purely VOLUNTARY action once in, as it was NOT an actual Treaty (otherwise Obama did NOT have the authority to enter in it in the 1st place), so we could be "IN" on paper, but yet do NOTHING according to it, which is in reality is what will happen.
....Uh...we already ARE doing what it requires because of simple economics. Wind, Solar, natural gas and hydro are the only profitable energy forms anymore.

The Republicans are still far from throwing Trump under the bus, but everyone seems to be ignoring the threat to Trump from the vast number of civil suits still pending against the President. Trump has such a record of lying that when court cases convict him lying and criminal activity, his tenure may come to a crashing end.

I hear about some states and cities saying essentially,
"Trump...nanny-nanny-boo-boo! if you won't take care of our environment through massively inefficient, inherently corrupt and non-measurable, global means, we'll just do it ourselves! So there!"
I am reluctant to point out the irony of big government supporters working at the state and local level to get something done instead of relying on the inefficient nanny state to do it.

One would hope you are bright enough to realize that though these states are indeed giving Trump the finger, the primary motivation for this would likely be that they were going to do it anyway due to the simple realities of the ongoing switch to cheaper and more dependable renewable energy sources. Coal is now more expensive than solar even when subsidy is considered. Oil is less attractive and more expensive to use than wind.
The environmental benefits are a secondary and somewhat arbitrary aspect of what is happening as technology drives the world away from carbon based fuel.
We can just assume that every statement you make in relation to a Trump post begins with "One would hope you are bright enough to realize..."
Or perhaps abbreviate it to (OWHYABETR...)
Either way is fine with me.

I suppose my commentary could be twisted in such a way...though such aerobics cannot be good for the spine, I guess it would not matter if you don't have one.
I reserve such commentary for those who do not seem well informed on the subject being discussed. Your ineffective and telling defensive posture is very interesting however.
