Please tell me why she is a maniac. In your own words, not the medias words, just yours. And why your afraid of her. While your doing that, let me also ask what kind of person you elected to the highest office of the United States of America.
Now that is something to be afraid of.

Personally, I don't think she is a maniac, but that she sometimes just says the wrong things at the wrong time- kind of reminds me of Biden because he does the same thing. I still wouldn't support her though, but my reasons are for what matters and that is the issues. I am anti-war and if she continues to support the sort of platform that she and McCain ran under, I could not support her. Also, she would have to be more fiscally conservative and of course be more conducive to free markets (that means not supporting TARP and similar programs of government interference in the markets.)

I don't think my media tells me much about her.

If Sarah Palin and McCain were in power, there'd be nuclear war within 5 months. Okay, i may be exaggerating, but as i'm anti-war, i wouldn't want some imperialist determined to kill more human beings and most likely continue the construction of the police state.

I did not vote anyone to the highest office of the United States of America. Firstly, because i support voter apathy, secondly because i don't live in the US, and thirdly because all the candidates were bent on maintaining the status quo, apart from those bent on plowing even further right.

And Government is always something to be afraid of. It shouldn't be, but it is. Especially in the American system, where both of the main parties are Statist and capitalist.

Do you think she has that much political power? I can see her as a spokesman and writing a biography perhaps, but a serious politician. I don't think she is solid enough for it.

Well for 1 thing she wants to conquer Iran. The Greeks, Arabs, British, Soviets and Americans all tried it. Only the Arabs and Americans managed to do so (Iran is now Muslim and culturally Western) but all failed to conquer and hold it. I don't want to see an American Army just disappear 1 day. That without ending the wars we're already in.

I don't think Sarah Palin wants to invade Iran. Stop them from sending a missile at the USA, yes.

:D:D:D I like that. I can see the equivalent of Joan d'Arc on a horse dashing through Iraq and conquering Iran. On the other hand, maybe not. But she has a point in her priorities though. Iran is probably the greatest of all the threats in the Middle East.

Some have greatness thrust upon them..;)

IMO they fear her because she has celebrity draw with the media...people are interested in everything she does. If she ever could discipline herself to use that, it might be formidable.

She seems unstable though, unless they back off allow her time to adjust and take control, I don't think politics will be her field. I don't think she's up to the job.

Of being a politician?

- Lie
- Scoff
- Write propaganda

Nope, i'd say she's perfect for the job. Meets all the requirements.
:D:D:D You're right about that of course! Only thing she lacks then is a sense of direction, purpose and consistency.

I think its more a fear of her having any power.

If you need brain surgery you go to a brain surgeon not a dentist, if you want a leader you pick someone smart not Sarah Palin ...

Someone that is not smart can sometimes lead as well as someone "pretending" they are smart. I don't think it could be much worse than the crew we have now.

Thats what people say and its easy being a critic from the couch but my leaders better have an education to back them up.

Joe the plumber is not qualified to run a country, no matter how much he believes that.

Which leaders without an education are you thinking of?

I am thinking of the "over educated" crowd running this country with too much "theory" and no common sense. Starting with Obama and Nancy Pelosi. Harry Reid is the worst because he knows right from wrong, but pushes on anyway.

Who says they want a leader?

Good point! I think some just want someone to look and talk like a leader. We have not done well the last few years picking a leader. But many of us don't want to be lead. As for me, if the government would just get out of my way I could make it. If I could not make it I should fail on my own.
