FORT PIERCE, Fla. —
Two St. Lucie County teenagers are dead after Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a 98-year-old man was driving the wrong way on 4-lane divided highway and crashed into the teens who were traveling in a pickup truck.

Not only that, but it was night and RV headlights were not on!!!

Good question!!!

My father in law was 97 when he passed away and was still driving. Periodically, I would ride with him to make sure he was OK. He knew his limitations and kept on highways that were not so busy and in areas he was familiar with.

I would have much rather ridden with him than my brother in law who was thirty years younger.

Don't automatically write off the older drivers. You might be one someday and you don't want someone arbitrarily saying you are too old to drive.

Whatever the hell that is!

We drove over the spot today where horrific crash happened. :( Flowers bouquets left in the median. Hope nobody gets killed putting them there! Could be quite dangerous.
