Are you an Austrian?

I scored 53/100 ever what that means.

The score doesn't tell you what you are but rather how good of an Austrian you are (100% meaning hardcore, pure Austrian). Look at what your answers mean to see what kind of economics you favor.

Like many such questionaires, it forces you to enter its own thought-world if you want to participate, which is why so many such surveys come up with nonsense. How do you answer the first question, for instance, if you believe property is theft? Not everyone does, obviously, but quite a number do.

Only fools... no matter what number there are.

Did you try taking back your property from some one who didn't agree with you in front of a police station yet?

Your system has a great big gaping hole front and center... not to mention the immediate absurdity one recognizes without bothering to think on it.
Have you come up with an answer as to how you can take back your stolen property because if it is yours (originally or taken back) it must be stolen property? Probably not. It is a paradox. You cannot take back anything in your system. You can only be a thief. A good way of looking at life if all you aspire to is the life of thievery and demand that others provide for you. Not terribly moral though.

Hitler, Stalin and lots of others had the same theory, as does Colonel Gaddafi - since only fools disagree with them only they need to speak. Heil McCarthy! I have dealt with that other nonsense in its proper place: only thieves believe they have the right to steal and to keep what has been stolen by their elders in the trade. People don't steal - they share.

You don't need a new truck - you WANT a new truck. What you need is a reading programme.

Unless he has a few tons to transport or do you expect him to manhandle it all? I get what your saying and fundamentally agree but be logical. There's a difference between private property (such as underdeveloped land) and personal property (such as a person's car). If you can't make that distinction, everyone from a fascist to a communist is simply going to laugh you out of the room.

I need another truck because I live out in the country and reverse is out of my old 1978 truck. I have dirt and mulch that need hauling before summer.

What are you talking about socialists and communists have an opinion of private property closer to yours than to sane people.

McCarthy? Why bring him up? He has nothing to do with economics. Non sequitur.

"only thieves..." people cannot share because what they have to share is stolen property (one cannot have property s all property is theft right?). So, whatever they have they acquired by theft. One cannot share stolen property one can only enlarge the criminal benefit from it - receiving stolen property.

Have you demanded some one share with you in front of a police station yet? No.

Why? You'd get arrested.

Why? Theft is criminal. Property is not.

You don't need a new truck - you WANT a new truck. What you need is a reading programme.

how do you know he doesn't need a truck?

perhaps his livelihood depands on one

no one needs a reading program. people need food shelter and clothing.. beyond that is simply want. There is nothing wrong with having preferences for needs - or wants.

do you live by that notion? do you only supply your needs? of course not. you don't need a computer. do you wear only the most basic clothes and eat the most basic foodstuffs? I'll wager no. Why? because you want just like everyone else.

I'll grant that you're useful to illustrate how even disparate American political and economic opinions can agree but do you really buy the line you're selling?

'Sane people' meaning those who won't look at obvious facts?

McCarthy? Why bring him up? He has nothing to do with economics. Non sequitur.

He's the reason you serfs always have to agree with your masters - he removed your testicles. Squeak on to glory!

I can make no sense of that, and must assume you are drunk. The police, obviously, protect what your masters have stolen. What point are you making?

He wants a truck to make money. He needs socialism to stop this sensleless piling up of climate-destroying nonsense.

Well they obviously won't get enough of anything until they learn something about how these things are being stolen from them and how they are being brainwashed.

You must mean something here - but what?

I'll grant that you're useful to illustrate how even disparate American political and economic opinions can agree but do you really buy the line you're selling?

I'm selling nothing: your masters tell you what to think. If you want to be robbed, obey, and good luck, mug.

Wrong cowboy. I need to raise a vegetable garden to feed me and my wife. We have very little money and food prices are going up everyday. Don't pretend to know what or why I do anything.

Iolo, you really need to think this stuff thru a bit more before you post. I get the logic behind your arguments and still have to shake off the feeling that you're an idiot due to the generalizing, assuming tone of your posts.

You're making valid arguments (please realize some will disagree with your position) and turning them into near incoherent rambling.

It only sounds incoherent because you live in an intellectual tyranny, I'm afraid. I don't live in the 'States and am not familiar with the detail of daily brainwashing over there, so I tend to stick to the obvious. I have been communicating with Americans for a long time, and I am totally at ease with the way in which unfamiliar (banned) ideas are greeted as 'stupid', 'mad', 'idiotic' and the like. It was the same in Victorian Britain. I am, I assure you, very bright, on all the academic evidence, though, let's face it, self praise is no recommendation. What do you want - certificates? :)

America-bashing doesn't change the fact that you think owning a means of personal transport is 'theft'. As I said, you fail to recognize the difference between private property (which I oppose for the same reasons as yourself) and personal property. I've known many on the left that make you look like a rightist in comparison but you're the 1st socialist/communist (aside from idealistic teens) that I've seen that has failed to make that distinction.

What I am objecting to is the pretence that there is anything 'legal' about property, which is, private or personal, all based on theft of some kind in the past. Obviously it is convenient at various times that various people are allowed to control part of this - essentially common before stolen - property, but I think it is ludicrous for them to get all holy about it, like the zionists as they kill children in a land to which they have no conceivable claim. Personal use of property just happens, but why have we to endure all this self-rightious balderdash about it? People worked hard to get it? So do lots more people who get none. It is the way that capitalist nonsense drips into people's heads that bothers me, not their 'owning' toothbrushes or toup?es! :)
