My distinction isn't unreal, it's a recognition that not everything is meant to be shared. Just because it's wrong to horde food when everyone around you is starving doesn't mean it's wrong when you didn't divide your 1 Big Mac between 100 people.

I am not telling you to take up charity - it is pure crap, meant to make the rich feel better but, pretty well by definition ('the poor ye have always with you') useless, but to stop pretending there is anything remotely moral about behaving like pigs at a trough. No-one can begin thinking on the basis of moralistic illusions, that's all.
