I admire all who stand up to tyranny. You should try it, and feel good about yourself for once.
There are other ways to stand up to tyranny besides compromising our security to foreign powers. If he had any good intentions, they were nullified by the way to he tried to correct the situation.
Name one way you have ever shown any guts in standing up to tyranny? That is why right-wing Americans are so full of senseless hate - it is all that servile 'Have-a-good-day-now'ing to their masters. Learn some bloody self-respect and stop trying to bully anyone with guts!
You make accusations, but do not offer any solutions. I served twenty very honorable years in the US Air Force. Very likely, I accomplished more in one day than you accomplished in a life time. I don't need to make apologies to anyone, especially someone like you that thinks the solution to all the worlds problems is to call people names.
If that was truly Manning's objective to stand up to tyranny, his cure was worse than the disease. All he did was allow some of our deepest held secrets to be turned over to the Russians and any other bad character that had the means to pay for them.
Americans DEFINITELY would stand up to tyranny! - hello?! Can't see it happening anytime soon though, with our system of awesome checks & balances.
