According to a recently posted article, California rates at the very bottom of "the quality of life" ratings. But our son seems perfectly happy here, and I have no problem with the State, other than the Interstate Highway and streets are in rough shape, compared to FL. Plus the weather (this time of year) is better in FL.
I mentioned to my son it is at the very bottom, but he said it is due to the cost of living, but in reality it seems that housing is the only high cost. I guess fuel costs are higher than we are used to, but the stupid CA CARB requirements are the cause of that.
Any thoughts?
