1. So far Trump has taken the following actions which he believes will "make America great again".

(a) Imposing trade restrictions or tariffs on China, NAFTA partners (Canada and Mexico), India, Vietnam, the European Union and other allies (Japan, South Korea, etc).

(b) Imposing sanctions on North Korea, Iran, Russia, Myanmar, Turkey, Cuba, Syria, etc.

(c) Like a jealous boy bent on destroying everything he can find in his stepbrother's playroom, Trump has enthusiastically and systematically dismantled his predecessor's signature achievements in healthcare, education, guns, the economy, the justice system, the environment, foreign policy and immigration, etc. since taking office.

(d) Philip Bump is a national correspondent for The Washington Post based in New York. Before joining The Post in 2014, he led politics coverage for the Atlantic Wire.

The following are excerpts from his December 15, 2017 article headlined "What Trump has undone" at https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...what-trump-has-undone/?utm_term=.a2512c121093

(Begin excerpts)
President Trump has repeatedly argued that he’s done more than any other recent president. That’s not true, as measured by the amount of legislation he’s been able to sign. It is true, though, that Trump has undone a lot of things that were put into place by his predecessors.

Since Jan. 20, Trump’s administration has enthusiastically and systematically undone or uprooted rules, policies and tools that predated his time in office... (End excerpts)

P.S. Time will tell whether Trump will "make America great or small again".

LOL! Your question is about 2 years antiquated! - hello?!

The appropriate question NOW would be "Can Trump Keep America Great Again?" The answer is solely based upon if he wins again in 2020. All we knownow as a basic truism is he'll keep making America great at least until 1/20/21.

My great friend Ralph, long time no see! My heartiest congratulations on your successful face transplant! Just hope that you will never disappoint my idol Mr Bean.

Who are you to dare change your idol's campaign slogan from "Make America Great Again" (abbreviated as MAGA) to "Keep America Great Again" (abbreviated as KAGA)? Be prepared for what he may say to you next: "You're fired!"

You fake alligator in a vest, you will be fed daily with butter that shapes like a ball. Guess what? In the end, you won't be as skinny as a beanpole but become a butterball instead. :)

2. The following are excerpts from the November 27, 2017 opinion piece headlined "Will the US Retain Its Superpower Status with Trump as President?"

(Begin excerpts)
....With President Trump at the helm, it’s doubtful though if the country can keep up with its No. 1 standing. World leaders in government, business, tech, political, and the entertainment industries, and influential personalities in philanthropy and the church see Trump in a far different light than his predecessors, and not in a favorable way. As Trump walks away from trade deals and climate change agreements, dismantles health care plans for the disadvantaged, bans travelers from entering the country and banishes immigrants, he is sending a message of isolationism and veering away from international cooperation among nations.

...it is obvious that, of his own making, Trump’s leadership role and influence is already enormously eroded and most countries will be looking for alternative leaders they can have respect for.

China’s economy has soared and it has successfully created multilateral and bilateral trade agreements with other countries, such that it need not kowtow to Trump’s bullying. The US stands to lose if its economic relations with China turn sour.....

Other countries are watching the progress or deterioration of US-China ties and will act accordingly. Under Trump’s term, the United States will likely lose its authority and cast doubt on its superpower status.

On global social principles and practices, the US president has always been viewed as a powerful influencer. But President Trump’s beliefs as revealed in his impromptu statements and tweets are in conflict with what America stands for. The Charlottesville rally that pitted the white supremacists against the liberals is glaring evidence of Trump’s racist bent. He has been criticized for objectifying women and calling Mexicans “murderers and rapists. Leaders of superpower countries are supposed to be public exemplars of righteousness, ethical behavior and plain decency. Clearly, Trump is not.

....Donald Trump has three, maybe seven if he wins in 2020, more years to get his act together, although at his age, it is unlikely he will change. The way he is running national and foreign affairs, the United States will cease being the most powerful nation, opening the door for China, Russia, India and Brazil to compete for global dominion. But America has plenty of reserves that can outlast Trump, even if he serves for eight years. By the time he is out and cannot do more harm, these reserve resources will be depleted. The next president has his or her job cut out clearly, and voters should have learned their lesson well. (End excerpts)

If Trump were working for Russia and China, it's hard to imagine what more he can do to destroy the power and standing of the USA.

I can't help but notice that signing the Tax Reform Act into law was missing from the OP's post. Every two weeks, I've got another hundred bucks in my take home pay thanks to the Tax Reform Act. That gives me about three thousand more to spend for the year. When was the last time a president signed a law in that rolled back our taxes like this?

When George W. Bush signed the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003.

He did. But it didn't result in my getting over a hundred extra dollars in my paycheck every two weeks. Now some of that could have been because I had a far lower salary then. The point still remains, I get a reminder every two weeks why I should vote Republican. Every Democrat in both the House and Senate voted against the Tax Reform Act.

In plain sight
I can't help but wonder how many people who are seeing extra money in their paychecks since the "tax cut" are going to get bitten in the ass when April 15, 2019 rolls around.

And even if you don't, enjoy it while it lasts. Your tax cuts were only ever temporary, and they'll be phased out little by little over the next ten years.

But never fear. The tax cuts for the rich remain permanent.

LOL!!! Tax cuts were ACROSS THE Board, percentage wise. Of course the more you make the more you save! But this means the higher income folks STILL pay WAY more dollars in taxes than much lower income folks - DUH!!!

Taxes were reduced weekly (paycheck deductions) proportionally. If somebody has to pay unexpectedly, they obviously miscalculated in the 1st place how much they needed to take out weekly - hello?!
