Greece : 142%
Italy: 120%
USA: 99%
Belgium/Ireland/Portugal : Between 90% and 99%
Germany, France, UK. Hungary: in 80% range

You can now guess who will default and in what order.

Most of US debt was caused by $10 Trillion spent in wars.

Actually you can't guess who will default and in what order because of that. The market still has A LOT more faith in the US than basically every other country/currency you listed.

Let me give you a theoretical example of why the debt:GDP ratio doesn't tell you everything. Say there is a medical doctor who makes $150,000 a year, but is in debt $150,000 too. His debt to "GDP" (in this case just income) ratio as a percentage is 100%. Now take the guy who works at a low-level entry job where his company is in trouble and layoffs are starting to happen. He makes $40,000 a year and is in debt $30,000, which is 75% debt:gdp. Who would you rather lend to?

That's like saying last year I bought a house, a boat, and a porsche, but it wasn't the porsche which caused by current indebtedness, it was the boat.

Indeed, most o our debt is ridiculous spending by Presidents Bush the Lesser and Obama.

$10 Trillion 2/3 of total debt

That's like saying last year I bought a house, a boat, and a porsche, but it wasn't the porsche which caused by current indebtedness, it was the boat.

$10 Trillion and adding, makes 66% of the debt. Total debt ~= $15 Trillion.
All this for the unconditional love for our Dimona Mistress.
Destroying our economy for this expensive love.

I think he's totaling the last decade.

It doesn't matter - the budget breakdown has looked similar for a long time. To take just one item from the chart and say it's responsible for 2/3 of the debt is silly - ALL spending has been partly paid for with current revenues and more debt.
